ENID — Funeral service for Eric Martinez, 34, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, at Waukomis High School Gym. Ray Rose will officiate. Burial will be in Waukomis Cemetery . There will be a time of visitation with the family from 6-7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Eric was born Aug. 20, 1976, in Enid, Okla., to Reinaldo and Nancy (Willeford) Martinez and died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010, in Enid.
He graduated from Waukomis High School. He participated in football, basketball, track, FFA, powerlifting and boxing. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, grilling for family and friends, watching OU football and of course "Da Bears!" He was employed with Lorenz Construction for 14 years.
He was preceded in death by his brother, R. Gabriel.
He is survived by his daughter, Kezlynn Erica; son, Kit Eli; stepdaughter, Kylynn Elizabeth; grandfather, Raymond; father, Reinaldo and wife Debra; mother, Nancy; brothers, Reinaldo II and wife Jill, Bryann and fiancé Tasha and Derek; stepbrother, Dennis and wife Jennifer; nieces, Jordan, Makenzie, Caitlin, Katlyn, Hailey and Addison; nephews, Mason, Lucas, Tanner, Weston and Alexander; uncles, Ronald, Raymond, Joe, Charles; aunts, Pam, Donna, Delores, Evelyn, Teresa; and numerous cousins.
Memorials may be made to Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home in the name of Eric Martinez.
