Iris Elaine (Barkley) McGrew

Funeral services for Iris Elaine McGrew, 70, Enid resident, will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, November 26, 2022 in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel with Ray Rose officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Waukomis Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service. Visitation with family present will be held from 5-7 pm Friday, November 25, 2022 at Stittsworth's.
Iris was born on October 10, 1952 in Hobart, Oklahoma the daughter of Orville Barkley and Pauline Fletcher Barkley, and passed away suddenly at her residence on the morning of Tuesday, November 22, 2022. She went to high school in Mountain View, OK and earned her bachelor's degree at SWOSU where she studied home economics and mathematics. She dedicated 36 years of her life to her teaching career and taught at Enid High School for over 20 years. She was an avid OKC Thunder fan and loved all things basketball. She is preceded in death by her parents, her infant son Tanner Ross Outhier and her youngest sister Sheri Lu Barkley. She is survived by her husband Tony McGrew of the home, her sister Rhonda Johnson of Enid, her daughters Chelsea Lynne Outhier of Dallas, Texas and Meagan Kasie Outhier of Edmond, and 3 stepdaughters Jennifer, Karrisa, and Page.
