Jerre Lena Lollman, 57, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 22, 2021. Born in Enid, raised in Lahoma, Jerre spent much of her life in Waukomis, where she and her husband, John, raised their two sons. A lifelong homemaker, she was a woman of many talents. An artist with the crochet hook, a master of rare thrift store finds, and a damn fine cook, just to name a few. She is fondly remembered for her loving, ornery spirit—always ready to cause a little trouble when trouble was needed (and sometimes even when it wasn’t). But above all, she is remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and sister. She loved her family fiercely. She would do anything for them and regularly did. Nothing made her happier. While her time on earth was short, she packed a lot of love into her 57 years—a love her family still feels even now.
Jerre is survived by her husband, John; her sons, Jason and Justin; her daughters-in-law, Ashlyn and Hannah; her grandchildren, Sullivan and Margaret; her siblings, Jimmy Hensley, David Hensley, Julie Torson, and their spouses; her brothers- and sisters-in-law, Gene Lollman, Mike Lollman, Teresa Bryant, Denise Henthorn, and their spouses; and her many nieces and nephews.
Jerre is preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Sonya Hensley; her brothers, Randall and Terry Hensley; her nephew, Brandon Hensley; and her father- and mother-in-law, William and Roberta Lollman.
Her funeral will be held graveside at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 27, at Waukomis Cemetery. Attendees are asked to please wear masks and observe social distancing. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 6:00 pm at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
