Graveside service for Max Isbell, 43, will be at 2 PM Friday in the Waukomis Cemetery. The Rev. David Imming will officiate. Arrangements are by Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.
He was born September 16, 1952, in Enid to Rex and Evelyn Diddie Isbell and died Tuesday, February 6, 1996, at his home in Waukomis after a short illness. He was raised in Waukomis, graduating from Waukomis High School in 1970, then attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University at Alva where he played basketball. He also attended Oklahoma State University, Stillwater. He was employed at Pillsbury Mills for several years, then farmed.
Surviving are two daughters, Amy of Weatherford and Katy of Waukomis; three sons, Chad of Norman, Jed of Stillwater and Lucas of Waukomis; one sister, Avis Gragg of Waukomis; one brother, Gerry of Waukomis; and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Waukomis Fire and Rescue Association.
