Funeral service celebrating the life of Anna Bell Hromas, 96, Waukomis, is 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 27, 2018, at the Waukomis Christian Church with the Rev. Dave Jones officiating. Burial follows in Waukomis Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends is 5:00-6:00 p.m. Wednesday evening, December 26, 2018, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
Anna Bell was born March 9, 1922, in Drummond, to Charles S. and Emma G. (Dale) Kline, and passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 in Enid.
Anna Bell graduated from Drummond High School. She married Leon Joe Hromas August 12, 1940, in Enid at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
They made their home on the family farm until 1960, when they moved to Waukomis. Anna Bell was a homemaker, and a member of Waukomis Christian Church. She loved to fish, and garden.
Anna Bell is survived by her children Leon "Cletus" Hromas (Shirley) of Blackwell; Vernon Hromas (Kay) of South Haven, Kansas; Larry Hromas; James Hromas; and Kathryn Nelson (Brad) of Waukomis; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, son Terry, daughter-in-law JoAnn, brother Vernon, and a sister, Zella.
Memorials may be made to Waukomis Christian Church, with Anderson-Burris Funeral Home serving as custodian.
