Mrs. Robert Herlihy Last Rites Slated
Mrs. Robert M. (Connie) Herlihy, 21, died Thursday afternoon in an Oklahoma City hospital following a lengthy illness.
Recitation of the Rosary for Mrs. Herlihy will be at 7 PM today in St. Francis Xavier Church and Funeral Mass will be at 10 AM Monday in the same church.
Burial will follow in the Waukomis Cemetery under the direction of the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.
The former Connie Lee Semrad, she and Robert M. Herlihy were married March 29, 1969. Mrs. Herlihy, a native of Waukomis, attended Waukomis school and graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1966. She also attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater.
At Waukomis she was a member of the High School Band, the girls basketball team in the 4 – H Club. She also played in the band at Enid High School and was a member of KK Social Club.
Mrs. Herlihy participated in several beauty pageants and was Enid's Junior Miss and a finalist in the Miss Teenage Oklahoma. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church.
Survivors include her husband Robert of the home of 1305 W. Broadway; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leon E. Semrad, Waukomis; a sister, Mrs. Gary C. (Cheryl Ann) Hassmann, Baltimore, Md.; maternal grandmother, Mrs. A. J. Hromas, Waukomis and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Semrad, Waukomis.
Those who wish may make contributions to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation in Mrs. Herlihy's memory. Henninger – Allen will serve as custodian of the fund.
