Waukomis Cemetery



July 1, 1923 - June 5, 2022

A Celebration of Life service for Dolly Fae (Outhier) Harvey, age 98, of Enid, will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2022, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Waukomis Cemetery, with Pastor David Jones officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Dolly Fae was born, July 1, 1923, in Pratt, Kansas, the youngest of seven daughters born to Francis E. and Louise (Fletcher) Hendrix. She passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022, at her daughter Jackie's home in Enid.

Dolly Fae earned her cosmetologist license from Beech's Beauty College in Enid. Following graduation, she managed Woodward Beauty College until 1974, when she purchased the American Beauty College in Ponca City. She spent many years in the beauty business where she was a member of the National Hair Dressers Association and the Hair Dressers Association of Enid and Ponca City. Dolly Fae was an avid dancer and was a part of the Old Timers Dance Association and Enid's Golden Swingers, as well as the Ladies of the Moose in Enid.

Dolly Fae is survived by her daughter, Jackie Cornish and husband Wayne, of Enid; five granddaughters, Kimberly, Karen, Chelsea, Megan, and Cara; two step-granddaughters, Shawna and Jacquetta; as well as numerous great-grandchildren.

Dolly Fae is preceded in death by her husband, Hilbert Harvey; daughter, Carolyn Seal; son, Byron Ross Outhier; granddaughter, Kelly Ann Bishop; two grandsons, Matt Seal and Curtis Johnson; and six sisters.

Memorial contributions in Dolly Fae's name may be made to the Waukomis Christian Church, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
