Celebration of Life service for Marlene A. Dierksen, 79, of Drummond, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, March 27, 2017, in the Ladusau-Evans Chapel, with the Rev. Vernon Lee officiating. Burial will be at Waukomis Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Marlene was born Dec. 7, 1937, in Enid, Okla., to Frank and Anna Hladik Skoda and passed away early Thursday, March 23, 2017, in the Garland Road Nursing and Rehab Center. She attended and graduated from Waukomis High School. Marlene married Ruey Dierksen on Sept. 13, 1959, in Bison, Okla.
Marlene is survived by her husband Ruey of the home, son Dustin and his wife Sabrina, twin grandchildren Cole and Presley, nephews Brian and Joe Skoda, great-nieces and -nephews Eric, Kendra, Christopher and Craig Skoda, and sisters-in-law Margaret Skoda and Laila Bateman.
Memorials may be made to Drummond PTA playground fund and Enid SPCA, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
