Funeral services for Janis Dickinson, 61, will be Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 11:00 am in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dave Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Waukomis Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 6:30pm at the funeral home.
Janis was born on June 1, 1958 in Enid, Oklahoma to Jackie and Angeline Milacek Eckhardt and died on December 7, 2019 in Enid.
She grew up in Waukomis and graduated from Waukomis High School. Janis worked at Scheffes, then in early childhood development and later at Garfied County Health Department. She loved working as a teacher's aide and foster grandparent at Carver School.
Janis was preceded in death by her father; grandparents, Lee and Lottie Eckhardt, Charlie and Minnie Milacek; sister, Jackie Ledlow.
Janis is survived by her son, Joshua Dickinson; mother, Angeline Eckhardt; two brothers and their wives, Chris and Darla Eckhardt and Ronnie and Anita Eckhardt; sister, Tracy Eckhardt; nieces, nephews and many friends.
