Death of Mrs. Connett
Mrs. R.A. Connett died at her home east of town at about 10 o'clock Tuesday night after an illness of about three weeks of pneumonia. Her condition has been quite serious for several days. Funeral services will be held at Waukomis today. She is survived by her husband, a daughter and two sons.

OBITUARY
Mary E. Cordell was born near Lafayette, Ind., September 4, 1860, died at her home near Drummond, February 13, 1917, age 56 years, 5 months, 9 days. She was united in marriage to R.A. Connett June 29, 1881. Four children were born to this union, Willie died at the age of one year, one month, fourteen days. The husband, three children, survive. They are Claude of Humboldt, Kan.; Tony of Drummond; and Mrs. Geo. Ulrich of Miami, Okla.; four grandchildren also her aged mother and one brother of Decatur, Ill. She united with the Christian Church at the age of 27 and lived a devoted Christian life till she was called home. She was a kind and loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed.
