Mrs. Matt Clark, pioneer of the Garfield county, died at her home southwest of Fairmont early Wednesday morning following a short illness of double pneumonia. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Arthur Wells, a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Maud Wells, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, two sisters and three brothers. Funeral services were held at the Christian church at Waukomis Thursday afternoon and burial was in the Waukomis cemetery.
