After an illness of only a few days, Mrs. Helen Bush, wife of Mr. Dick Bush, passed away Sunday evening at about 8 o'clock. She had been sick with the measles and her condition was not serious but heart failure was the cause of death. A pang of genuine sorrow pierced the hearts of all who knew her and sometime shared her friendship when they heard of her sudden death.
Mrs. Bush has lived here since childhood and grew up to a sweet and splendid young womanhood. Her strong character attracted to herself a host of comrades both old and young. Such as she is always leaves the world poor when they are translated to the world beyond. Her married life was a fitting and happy termination of her girlhood days, and their bright baby daughter, now five months old seemed to complete their joy. Her death is a crushing blow not only to her loved ones, but the breaking up of a nearly perfect a home as one ever finds. Their future plans were so bright and hopeful and cruel death has so blighted them.
Mrs. Bush is survived by her husband and infant daughter and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G.W. Odel, and four sisters and brothers. The fact that her husband and daughter, father, brother and sister are all now very sick with the measles, increases the gloom in this sad hour and we extend to them our heartfelt sympathy.
