Funeral service for Doyal Lee Burrow , 80, of Enid, will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at Calvary Assembly of God Church, with Pastor Stanley E. Botts Sr. officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Waukomis Cemetery under the kind guidance of Stittsworth Funeral Service. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the United States Army. Visitation with the family present will be 6-8 p.m. this evening at Stittsworth's.

Doyal was born Feb. 21, 1932, in Yukon, the son of James Dudley and Mellissia Anthony Burrow and passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, in Enid.

He worked in the oil field, beginning at the age of 18.

Doyal served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He married Margie L. Cook Dec. 11, 1959, in Stillwater.

Doyal resumed working in the oil field in Oklahoma and California, returning to Enid in the 1960s, and retired in 1993 from Ward Drilling.

Doyal was affiliated with Calvary Assembly of God Church and loved to garden, travel and watch football on his television.

Survivors include his wife, Margie of the residence; daughters, Mary Minor and Talisyn Burrow of the residence; son, Dakota Burrow of the residence; grandsons, Hayden Minor and Nathan Burrow , both of the residence; sisters, Darlene Sadler of Perkins, and Junie Minshell of Oklahoma City; and brother, Darrell Jarvis of Waukomis.

Doyal was preceded in passing by his parents, four brothers and four sisters.

The family has selected Disabled American Veterans or Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation as appropriate for memorial donations with the Stittsworth family coordinating.
