Linda Bair
July 7, 1949 - May 23, 2024

The services celebrating and honoring the life of Linda F. Pendland Bair, 74, of Enid, will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday June 6, 2024, in the University Place Christian Church with Reverend Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the Waukomis Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings, A life celebration home.

Linda, the first of nine children, was born July 7, 1949, to Charles Ray Pendland and Elsie Hayes in Fairview, Oklahoma, and passed from this life May 23, 2024, in Enid, Oklahoma.

She was raised and educated in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and later moved with her family to Enid, where she graduated from Enid High School. She married Alonzo Bair February 23, 1967, in Enid, from this union came one daughter, Connie. She worked at the Young Blood Motel for seventeen years as a housekeeper and elevator operator until their closing. She then worked in home health as a nurse's aide for many years, retiring in 2014. She was a faithful member of University Place Christian church, she loved the Lord and enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her daughter.

She is survived by her daughter Connie Payne and husband Bennie, of Enid, one sister and one brother.

She was preceded in death by her husband A.J. Bair, three sisters, and three brothers.
