Waukomis – Mrs. Ralph "Alice L." Anderson, 68, died Sunday at her home following a period of ill health.
She was born in Waukomis to Eddis and Mable Atherton, and has lived there all her life. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Waukomis.
The former Alice Atherton married Ralph Anderson, April 18, 1942. He preceded her in death on November 30, 1984.
She is survived by a daughter, Anita Hughes, and twin grandsons – both of Enid.
Services will be 10 AM Wednesday in the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Harold Honnold officiating. Burial will be in the Waukomis Cemetery under the direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Memorials should be made to the Heart Division of the Oklahoma Medical Research Society or the United Methodist Church of Waukomis. The funeral home will serve as custodian.
The casket will remain open until the service.

Ralph Claire (Swede) Anderson, 72, Waukomis, died early Friday morning in a local hospital following a period of ill health.
His funeral will be at 10:30 AM Monday in the Waukomis United Methodist Church with the Rev. Harold A. Honnold officiating. Burial will be in the Waukomis Cemetery, with arrangements under the direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Anderson was born on a farm south of Enid March 11, 1912, the son of Irvin Carl and Jessie McCall Anderson. He had farmed all his working life in the Enid – Waukomis area, and for the past 27 years had farmed northwest of Waukomis.
He was a member of the Waukomis United Methodist Church, the Fair Board and an honorary member of the FFA.
Anderson and Alice Atherton were married April 18, 1942, and she survives him. He is also survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mack (Anita) Hughes of Enid; two sisters, Alma Dee Gungoll of Waukomis and Dorothy Stone of Rockville, Maryland, and a brother, Robert Anderson of Enid. He was preceded in death by a sister.
The casket will be open at the funeral home until 8:30 AM Monday and at the church from 9 AM until service time.
Memorials may be made to the Waukomis United Methodist Church or the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation Cancer Division in his memory, with the funeral home serving as custodian of contributions.
