The funeral for Tiffany Ann Young, 17, will be at 10 AM Thursday at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with the Revs. Allen Seibel and Tom Frisbie officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Carrier, under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
She was born October 30, 1978 in Enid to Jay and Carolyn J. Bryant Young and died Sunday, July 14, 1996 in St. Mary's Mercy hospital as the result of an automobile accident.
She was active in Camp Fire from kindergarten through the sixth grade and was on the Camp Fire drill team. She played T – Ball, then softball from kindergarten through the eighth grade.
She was a senior at Enid high school where she was in the National Honor Society and Who's Who among high school students. She was currently employed by the Chick-Fil-A and at Walmart and had worked at Western Sizzlin.
She is survived by: her parents, Jay and Carolyn Young of the home; one brother, Charles Young of the home; grandparents, Dennis and Charlene Young, Frieda Cook, all of Enid; great – grandmothers, Hazel Bickford of Enid, Lena Young of Pryor; great- grandparents, Carlos and Bernice Bryant of Wynona; and several aunts and uncles.
Memorials may be made in her name to the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Enid teen dies after accident
An Enid teen died Sunday after she lost control of the 1989 Chevrolet Camaro she was driving one and a half miles south of U. S. 60 on Oklahoma 132 in Garfield County at approximately 11:20 PM Saturday.
Tiffany Ann Young, 17, was pronounced dead at 10:10 AM Sunday after she was taken to St. Mary's Mercy Hospital and listed in critical condition with head, internal trunk and leg injuries following the accident, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Passenger Terry Lee Rauh, 18, of Drummond, was taken to St. Mary's for leg injuries and released, the OHP report states.
Young was driving the Camaro south on Oklahoma 132 when the vehicle left the west side of the roadway, overcorrected, left the west side again and rolled two times, ejecting both driver, and passenger, before coming to rest on its wheels, the report states.
Young was thrown 40 feet and Rauh 15 feet, the report states. Seatbelts were equipped but not in use. The trooper working the accident listed unsafe speed as a factor in the accident. The roadway was dry and whether clear at the time of the accident.
The funeral for Young is pending with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
