September 08, 1951 - July 22, 2020

A graveside memorial service for Dale Leroy Thorp, age 68 years, of Carrier, will be 10:00 am, Monday, July 27, 2020, at Rose Hill Cemetery, Carrier, OK, with Pastor Jeanette Heitfield officiating. Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Dale was born September 8, 1951, and passed from this life July 22, 2020, after a short illness. He grew up in Garber and attended Garber Schools, graduating in 1969. He enjoyed hunting and worked as an aircraft mechanic, retiring from Vance Air Force Base in 2014. He married Cathy Johnson Parsons on January 18, 1997, and they made their home north of Carrier.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Cathy, of Carrier; and three brothers, Darl, Doyle, and Danny Thorp.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dale's name may be made to the Enid SPCA with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.

Out of love and safety for the health of our family and friends, the Thorp family requests that those who attend please wear a mask. Masks will be provided for those who do not have one.
