Rose Hill Cemetery


ENID — Graveside service for L. D. Sparks, 81 will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Carrier. Arrangements by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.
He was born Feb. 14, 1930 in Oklahoma City to E. C. and Minnie Storm Sparks and died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011.

He married Mary Ellen Shields in Hoisington, Kan., July 25, 1953.

Surviving are one daughter, Shelly Coulter of Carrier; two sons, Jeff Sparks and Mike Sparks, of Hennessey, 13 grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen, one grandson, two brothers and two sisters.
