CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — Graveside service for Jerry D. Fritzler will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 27, 2014, in Carrier Cemetery. He was cremated and his ashes were returned to his home town of Carrier to be buried next to his parents, Emanuel and Rosalie Fritzler and two baby brothers, Howard Curtis Fritzler and Richard Eugene Fritzler. Dave Jones, pastor of Waukomis Christian Church will officiate.
Jerry was born March 21, 1939, in Goltry, Okla., and passed away on Jan. 17, 2014, at his home in Corpus Christi, Texas.
He grew up in Carrier, graduating from Carrier High School.
He worked for Champlin Petroleum for many years.
He served in the U.S. Army National Guard.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 19 years, Hilda T. Fritzler; son, Allen Fritzler; daughter, Janet Martinez; six stepchildren; sister, Bonnie Rapp; two brothers, Ronald and Delbert Fritzler; 24 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
