Funeral service for Rev. Ronald Eugene Graber, 69, of Enid, will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 31, 2013, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Donaldson officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, rural Douglas. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 7:00 at the funeral home.
He Ron is preceded in death by his father Victor, and his step father Wilbur Holman. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Pleasant Valley Christian Union Church or Hospice Circle of Love. Condolences online at www.andersonburris.com was born on April 25, 1943, in Anthony, Kansas to Victor and Alice (Schroeder) Graber and passed away on Saturday January 26, 2013,at home in Enid. Ron grew up in Kansas, Minnesota and later moved to Oklahoma, and graduated from Goltry High School, and attended Bob Jones University, in South Carolina. On July 30, 1967 he married Catherine Lawrence in Harrod, Ohio. He pastored churches and lived in Santa Fe, Ohio, Ottumwa, Iowa, and Homer, Indiana. In 1974 he moved to Oklahoma City, and worked at Sheplers. Ron moved to the Enid area in 1981 and was the pastor at Pleasant Valley Christian Union Church, until the time of his death.
He is survived by his wife Cathy of the home; his mother Alice Graber Holman of Oklahoma City; four children Jamie Graber of Stillwater, Jill Graber (Jim Russell) of Brunnen, Switzerland, Judi Ring (Rob) of Eaton, Colorado, and Jenny Warriner (Joe) of Edmond; seven grandchildren Drew, Gabbi, Astrid, Jack, Felix, Regan, and Marta; one brother Rodney Graber (Debbie) of Oklahoma City; two sisters Cheryl Stronczek (Fred) of Greer, South Carolina, and Christy Fleming (Ron) of Lyman, South Carolina.

Ron loved God, family, his church family, and the St. Louis Cardinals. He truly loved and enjoyed people; he lived a life full of humor and compassion. Through it all, he taught and challenged us to think for ourselves and to become who we were meant to be in Christ. We all had a lot of fun
