Paradise Cemetery


ELK CITY — Graveside service for Thomas “Tommy” E. Smoot, 77, of Elk City, formally of Enid,will be 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, in Paradise Cemetery, Breckinridge, with Pastor Russell Duck of the Elk City First Baptist church officiating under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

He was born Nov. 9, 1935, and died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Kindred Hospital, Oklahoma City.

He volunteered and participated several years for the Special Olympics. He was an active member of Elk City First Baptist Church and attended the Men’s PrayerBreakfast.

He loved roller coasters and would ride frequently.

He is survived by his special friend, Avis, and his church family.
