The memorial services celebrating and honoring the life of Jennifer Hampton, 57, of Enid, will be held privately in the Paradise Cemetery. Complete cremation care and services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
Jennifer was born February 6, 1966 to Audie and Elsie Polson Hampton in Alamogordo, New Mexico, and passed from this life August 16, 2023 in Enid, Oklahoma.
Jennifer was an avid sports fan and loved NASCAR and the Dallas Cowboys. She was devoted to helping animals through Furever Friends. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, talking politics, going fishing, camping, having cookouts, driving on dirt roads to go storm chasing, and admiring the sunset. She was also a talented landscaper.
She is survived by her children, Shiloh Walker, of Perryville, Arkansas, and Catherine Martin, of Brownsville, Texas; eight grandchildren; siblings Lita Hampton Glenn, of Enid, Christine Grubb, of La Luz, New Mexico, and Kevin Hampton, of Tucson, AZ; nine nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Karen Hampton, and one brother, Russell Hampton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Jennifer Hampton's name to Furever Friends.
