The funeral for William Adrian VanCoevering, 94, of Enid, will be 10 AM Saturday at Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Don Tines will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
He was born June 13, 1912, in Guthrie to Marion and Jennie Arnold VanCoevering and died Monday, August 8, 2006, at Highland Park Nursing Center.
He graduated from high school before attending Diesel Engineering Institute.
He married Beulah Murphy September 28, 1934. She died June 1984. He worked for Champlin Refinery, retiring in 1977. He was a member of Masonic Lodge in Guthrie.
Surviving are his children, Glenn VanCoevering of Bastrop, Louisiana, Darrel VanCoevering of Vancouver, Washington, and Larry VanCoevering of Yukon; a brother, Marion VanCoevering; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Beulah, he was preceded in death by one sister.
