Funeral services for W. L. "Bill" Unruh, 47, 1617 E. Chestnut, who was killed in a traffic accident Friday morning, will be at 2 PM Sunday in the First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Loy Watson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Henninger – Allen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Unruh was born February 8, 1932, in Johnson City, Kansas, to Cornelius and Bertha Schmidt Unruh. He attended and graduated from Cleo Springs Schools.
Unruh joined the U. S. Army in 1952 and was on active duty until 1954.
He and Genevieve Young were married October 8, 1955, in Fairview. At the time of his death, Unruh was employed as a pumper with the Ladd Petroleum Corp., and had been with them for the past 16 years.
He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and a member of the Masonic Lodge at Fairview.
Survivors include his wife Genevieve of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Jim (Cindy) Baker of Enid; two sons, Rodney L. Unruh of Enid and Rocky Trent Unruh of the home; his mother, Mrs. Bertha Unruh of Cleo Springs; a sister, Mrs. Frank (Lillian) Nickel, Fairview; two brothers, Kenneth Unruh, Cleo Springs and Leslie Unruh, Waynoka.

The funeral for Genevieve "Genny" P. Unruh, 53, who died Tuesday at Bass Baptist Hospital after a lengthy illness, will be at 2 PM Thursday at First Church of the Nazarene. The Rev.'s Jim Cooper and Don Taylor will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.
She was born December 23, 1935, on a farm near Ringwood to Henry and Emma Schroeder Young. She was raised in Fairview. She and Wilford "Bill" Unruh were married October 8, 1955. She was employed by Enid Board of Education and worked at Coolidge School from 1976 until ill health forced her retirement. She was also a member of First Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Jim (Cindy) Baker of Enid; two sons, Rodney and Rocky, both of Enid, one sister, Mrs. Glenn (Dorothy) Bryant of Owasso; two brothers, Richard Young and Larry Young, both of Fairview; and two grandsons.
