Merth Reynolds Hubbart Unruh

The funeral for Merth Hubbart Unruh, 83, who died Thursday at her home in Enid, will be at 2 PM Sunday at Central Christian Church. Dr. Lloyd H. Lambert and the Rev. Billy Joe Hannonn will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home.

The casket will be open at the funeral home until 11:30 AM Sunday, then at the church from noon until service time.

She was born December 18, 1907, in Pond Creek to Joseph and Lulu Grubbs Reynolds. In 1925, she married Roy Hubbart. She married Louis Unruh in 1954 and lived in Lahoma until retiring. They moved to Enid in 1977. She was a longtime employee of Sears Roebuck and Company, and later J. C. Penny Company.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, Donald Hubbart of Denver, Colorado, and Duaine Hubbart of Enid; two sisters, Mrs. James (Edith) Black of Enid and Mrs. R. C. (Faye) Wilmot of Covington; seven grandchildren; 11 great – grandchildren; and one great – great – granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Garfield Circle of Love.

Funeral services for Louis Henry Unruh, 96 will be at 2 PM Friday, April 20, 2001 at Ladusau – Evans Chapel with Rev. John McLemore officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home.

He was born October 25, 1904 in Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma to Henry and Elizabeth Jantz Unruh and died Sunday, April 15, 2001 in Boulder Manor, Boulder, Colorado. In 1954, he married Merth Reynolds and they lived in Lahoma where he did farming and ranching until retiring. In 1977 they moved to Enid. She preceded him in death February 28, 1991.

He is survived by one brother, Fred Unruh of Enid, four nieces, Elsie Cook of Duluth, Minnesota, Dorothy Hunt of Charlotte, North Carolina, Wilda Summers of Norman, Oklahoma, Joyce Watts of Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Also surviving are two stepsons, Donald Hubbart of Denver, Colorado, and Duane Hubbart of Enid, seven grandchildren, 13 great – grandchildren and five great – great – grandchildren.
