The funeral for Lynn Floyd Unruh, 83, will be at 2 PM Monday at Willow Road Christian Church. Dr. Richard Duckworth will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home.
He was born may 17, 1911, in Oklahoma to Simon and Josephine Bullard Unruh and died Saturday, December 3, 1994, at Highland Park Manor, Enid. He attended school at Goltry.
On March 6, 1932, he married Edna Mae See. They lived on a farm North of Meno before moving to a farm West of Jefferson. In 1958, they moved to Enid. He was a skilled carpenter and retired with Lee Unruh Builders. After his retirement he continued to build things for his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Rosalie Jones of Wickenburg, Arizona; two sons, Lynn D. of Waukomis and Darrell of Hennessy; one sister, Matilda Smith of Cleo Springs; seven grandchildren; and 15 great – grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice Circle of Love and/or Willow Road Christian.
The family will be at 2006 N. second.
