The funeral for Mrs. Harry T. (Anna M.) Unruh, 84, who died Thursday at St. Mary's Hospital, will be at 3 PM Saturday at United Church of Lahoma. Dr. C. William Brian will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.
She was born December 23, 1904, on a farm north of Meno to Charles and Agusta Westphal Peterson. She graduated from Enid High School and received a teaching certificate from Phillips University. She taught school in rural school district for several years and later served as a postal worker.
She and Harry T. Unruh were married August 23, 1928, in Fairview. They lived on a farm north of Meno for the next 50 years. After retirement, the couple moved into Meno. She was an active member of United Church of Lahoma and was a Sunday school teacher for 65 years. She was also a member of Northeast Home Demonstration Club.
Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Chester (Joan) Martindale of Irvington, Texas; one son, Duane of Evergreen, Colorado; four brothers, Francis and Edwin Peterson of Enid, Clarence Peterson of Perryton, Texas, and Ernest Peterson of Goltry; eight grandchildren; and four great – granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Feed the Children in care of United Church of Lahoma.

Meno – The funeral for Harry T. Unruh, 89, will be at 10 AM Monday in the United Church of Lahoma with the Rev. Robert Bull officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.
He was born May 19, 1906, in Coy to Tobias Cornelius and Elizabeth Koehn Unruh and died Wednesday, April 10, 1996, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.
He married Anna Peterson on August 23, 1928, in Fairview. They made their home on a farm north of Meno.
He was an Elder Emeritus of the United Church of Lahoma.
He is survived by one daughter, Joan Martindale of Paris, Texas; one son, Duane of Evergreen, Colorado; two sisters, Minnie Unruh of Enid, and Dorothy Yarborough of Oklahoma City; one brother, Rufus of Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren and nine great – grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1989.
Memorials may be made to The United Church of Lahoma through the funeral home.
