Funeral for Warren H. Ullrich, 88, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Tom LeGrand will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Brown-Cummings. Graveside Military Honors will be conducted by the U.S. Army.
He was born March 18, 1927, in Elmwood, Okla., to William H. and Iva Barker Ullrich and died Tuesday, May 19, 2015, in Enid.
He graduated from Beaver High School in Beaver, Okla., and attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University. On Jan. 29,1949, he joined the Army, serving as a sergeant in the 445th Field Artillery until an honorable discharge in 1951.
On Nov. 18, 1953, he married Dorothy Y. Hrachovina in Clayton, N.M. They moved to Enid in 1959.
He was preceded in death by his wife on July 25, 2009. He was a laborer and heavy equipment operator for P.C. Davis and Bass Construction companies.
He is survived by three sons, Warren H. and Mark D. Ullrich, both of Enid, and Randy and wife, Donna, Ballard of Burlington, Iowa; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, daughter Charlotte and his parents.
