Funeral service for Josh Toone, 39, of Clarksville, Tenn., formerly of Enid, Okla., will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2015, at First Assembly of God Church. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, with military honors conducted by the U.S. Army. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
Josh was born Feb. 1, 1976, in Enid, and passed away Friday, July 10, 2015, in Clarksville, Tenn.
Josh grew up in Enid, attending school in Waukomis and Enid, where he graduated in 1994.
He served in the U.S. Army for 21 years, and was a master sergeant.
Josh enjoyed being with his nieces and nephews, and they all loved him very much.
Josh will be missed by many friends, schoolmates, co-workers and especially family.
He is survived by his dad, Mike Toone and wife Debbie of Enid; mother, Kathy Jones of Wagoner; brother, Brandon Bower; three sisters, Shannon Rogers, Amanda Pospisil and Chancie Toone; grandparents, Darelene Morton, Nona and Bob Morgan; cousins, Seth, Angie, Danielle, Dustin, Mathew, Jake, Asia, Sadie, Patrick, Katie, Haley, Tylee, Elie, Gabe, Anna, Shilo, Stacy, Jory; aunts and uncles, Bill and Debra Toone, Lee Roy Welch, Paula and Jim Harrison, Arlene Marshall, Gale and David Dunbar, Hugh Jones, Teresa Matlock and Kenny Jones; nieces and nephews, Allicia Pospisil, Blake Bower, Austin Rogers, Kyrah Cook, Cody Bower, Severin Pospisil, Dameon Pospisil and Riley Rogers.
Josh was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence Morton, and Leroy and Edna Welch.
Memorials may be made to EOD Warrior Foundation.
