Funeral Services for Maryann Jibok Tommy, age 39, of Enid will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 6, 2021, at Marshallese First Assembly of God Church, with Rev. Emerold Lokeijak officiating. Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Maryann was born November 19, 1981, in the Marshall Islands to John and Maryrose Jibok. Her family immigrated to the U.S. in the mid-1980's. They were among the first Marshallese families to reside in Enid. She was a very family-oriented and faithful woman of God. Maryann was devoted to her church. She served as a Deaconess for the Marshallese First Assembly of God Church for all her life. Maryann will be greatly missed by her community and those who knew her well. She enjoyed taking care of her family. Maryann was a great leader and example for her family. Maryann had a way to bring the family together. She was the matriarch of the family.
Maryann is survived by her husband, Damien Tommy; two children, Luana and Mizaki; siblings, Tammy Jibok and his wife Elizabeth of the Marshall Islands, Ruthann Zacharias and her husband Bruce; her half-brothers and half-sisters, Kunson, Kanson, Sosylina, Herbert, Adela; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many other loving family members and friends.
