Randy E. Terrel, 19, 2221 E. Locust, died Monday morning in an Army hospital in Ft. Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas. His service will be Thursday at 2 PM in Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Vernon Pendleton and the Rev. Melvin Warren officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Terrel was born in Blackwell on September 22, 1957, and spent his early life there. He had lived in Enid the past four years where he attended Waller junior high and Enid high school. He had been employed by the United Super Market on West Garriott, and was a member of the Baptist Church.
Terrel was in the 45th Division of the National Guard, and was on training when struck by his last illness.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Terrel, Enid; one brother, Darrol W., and one sister, Cheryle Ann, both of Enid; and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert A. Welch, Blackwell.
Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation Cancer Fund with the funeral home acting as custodian.
