Jet – Leo S. Tarrant, 72, died Thursday morning in an Enid hospital. His funeral will be at 2 PM Saturday in the United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ray Howard officiating. The Laverne Valley Lodge No. 453 will conduct Masonic graveside rites in the Memorial Cemetery in Enid.
Grapes Funeral Home of Cherokee is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Kay) Cress of Tehran, Iran, Mrs. Leo (Patty) Long of May and Mrs. Mohammed (Shirley) Ahmed, Amman, Jordan; a brother, Alton Tarrant of Mullenville, Kansas; 12 grandchildren. A daughter, a sister and two brothers died earlier.
