Memorial Park Cemetery


A Celebration of Life Service for Debra "Debbi" Jo Toews age 68 of Meno will be 2:00 pm Monday, April 10, 2023 at the Faith Center, Meno with Pastor Cody Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Debbi was born July 2, 1954 in Enid to Charles "Bud" E. and Dorothy E. (Walters) Simpson and passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023 in St. Mary's Hospital. She attended and graduated from Pioneer High School in 1972. She attended Autry Technology Center for data processing. Debbi married Francis L. Toews July 2, 1976 at Davis Park Christian Church, Enid, OK. She worked for Champlin Offices for several years. She went to work for St. Mary's Hospital in 1996 retiring in 2007. She was a member of Faith Center. Debbi was a member of Garfield County Home Extension Club. She was a cheerleading coach, little league coach, pageant director and the #1 sports fan for her daughters, grandchildren and local high school teams.

She is survived by her husband Francis of the home, daughters; Lacy Hoggard and husband Aaron, Dr. Samantha Toews, Kelly Reyes and husband Leo, and Jessy Dershem and husband Jeremy, 8 grandchildren Kyra, Raylie, Ethan Reyes, Jase, Joey, Jorja Dershem, Houston and Olivia Hoggard, brother Brad Simpson and wife Richelle and son C. J. Simpson and wife Kassi.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Kyle.

Memorials may be to Galactosemia Foundation or Faith Center Youth and Children Ministries with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory serving as custodians of the funds.
