Celebration of Life Service for Jane Tehven, 89, Enid will be Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at The Commons Church. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Service for Jane Marilyn (Iwen) Tehven, 89, of Enid, Oklahoma, will be Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 2:00 pm at The Commons Keatley Family Chapel, 201 South Oakwood Road, Enid, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Jane was born March 18, 1933, in Amenia, North Dakota, to August and Helen Iwen and passed away on May 31, 2022. She lived in Arthur, North Dakota through high school. She attended business college in Fargo, North Dakota and married Marvin Tehven of Casselton, North Dakota in 1955. They lived in many locations throughout the grain belt before settling in Enid in 1977. Jane worked at Enid Regional Hospital for many years, and upon retiring, worked as a volunteer at St. Mary's Hospital.
Jane was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, an avid crocheter, knitter, baker, and reader. She was known for her chocolate chip cookies, lefse, and lemon chicken - always family favorites. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church for many years where she generously devoted her time and service, enjoying the fellowship and making many lifelong friends.
Jane is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Tehven; brother, Bob, sisters, Jean and Patsy, and son-in-law Chris Bush. Left to cherish her memory are her children Sandra (Tehven) Bush of Enid, Steven Tehven and wife Irina Ramazanova of Almaty, Kazakhstan, and Kathleen (Tehven) Anderson and husband Wayne of Denver, Colorado, as well as seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
