The funeral service for Sally Ann Sturgeon, age 68 will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Jeff Jackson will officiate. A Private burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Sally was born September 14, 1941 in Dilworth, OK to Cecil and Sally (Busbee) DeBoard and died January 30, 2010 at her home. She graduated from the Ponca City High School.

She married Jerry Sturgeon on October 21, 1961 in Enid, OK at the Willow Road Christian Church.

She enjoyed traveling in their motor home. She loved spending time with her family and always thought of others before herself. She worked and retired from Triangle Insurance. She always took time to listen to anyone at any time and always gave good and heartfelt advice. She enjoyed life.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry of the home; her son Randy Sturgeon; five grandchildren and brother, Frank DeBoard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Rick Sturgeon; brother, Roy DeBoard and sister, Lola Holder.
