Memorial Park Cemetery


The funeral for June Strickler, 87, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Willow Road Christian Church. The Rev. Carrell Still will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

She was born June 20, 1920, in Anadarko to Harry P. and Selinda Gardner Lowe and died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2007, in Oklahoma City.

She married Gordon H. Strickler in 1939. They lived in Enid, where she worked at Waller Junior High School cafeteria. She did recipe and kitchen tips on the radio and was a member of Willow Road Christian Church. She also attended Christian Church of the Covenant.

Surviving are one daughter, Trisha Fuller of Oklahoma City; one son, Gordon L. Strickler of Enid; 11 grandschildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon, three children, one brother and three sisters.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Willow Road Christian Church or Christian Church of the Covenant.
