ENID, Okla. - Funeral service for Marvin Elwood Stallings, 31, of Garber, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, at Garber Baptist Church, with Pastor Tom Legrand officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the kind guidance of Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors.
Marvin was born April 13, 1982, in Enid, Okla., the son of Ray and Tammy Jean Brawner Stallings and passed away Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, near Billings, Okla.
He was raised in Enid and recently was employed as a farmer's hand in Garber.
Survivors include his son, Austin of Goltry; his father, Ray Stallings; brothers, Raymond of Enid, Leon of Oklahoma City and T.J. of Wichita, Kan.; grandmother, Lillie Brawner of Enid; and aunts, Linda Parker of Garber, Betty Rice, Wanda Webster and Mary Lewis, all of Enid.
Marvin was preceded in passing by his mother and grandfather, Marvin Brawner.
The family has selected the Austin Stallings Trust or Garber Baptist Church as appropriate for memorial donations. Remembrances may be shared online at www.stitts worthfuneralservices.com.
