ENID — Funeral service for Calvin "Paul" Spratt, 84, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011, at Anderson - Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. John McLemore officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Anderson - Burris Funeral Home .
Paul was born to Roy and Bernice (Bailey) Spratt on May 14, 1927, in Whitewater, Kan., and died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, in Enid.
Paul grew up in Whitewater and then served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
On Dec. 27, 1954, he married Anna Lee Smith in Cunningham, Kan. They moved to Enid in 1963.
Paul was a yard foreman at Caton Lumber Yard for 26 years.
Surviving are four daughters, Paula Redding and husband Wes of Enid, Lin Honigsberg of Harbor, Ore., Tami Curtis and husband John of Tulsa, and Lisa Merritt and husband Ben of Enid; five grandchildren, Scarlet, Kelly, Dustin, Brianna and Lillian; six great-grandchildren, Willow, London, River, Violet, Logan and Lorien; brother, Jack Spratt of Kansas; and sister, Lois Balance of Kansas.
Paul was preceded in death by wife, Anna Lee; son, David; and a brother.
