Funeral service for Kenneth Edward Smith, 77, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at Enid First Nazarene Church. Rev. Bruce Johnson and Bill Hane will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Kenneth was born to Joseph A. and Vesta V. (Mushrush) Smith on Nov. 9, 1935, in Homer City, Pa., and passed away Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, in Enid. Kenneth married Eloise Waits Aug. 6, 1957, in Woodward. They made their home in Enid. He served his country in the United States Army.

Kenneth worked at Central Machine and Tool Co. as a production manager. He was a longtime member of the Church of the Nazarene, and over 50 years at Enid First Nazarene Church. He loved to fish, hunt and play softball on the church league.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Eloise of the home; three children, Brenda Hane and Bill of Piedmont, Doug Smith and Julie of Enid, and Montra Smith and Tisha of Enid; four grandchildren, Aaron Hane, Andrew Hane, Dylan Smith and Owen Smith; two sisters, Patty Bash and Bill of Indiana, Pa., and Debra Smith of Homer City, Pa.; and one brother, Paul Smith and Arvilla of Oklahoma City.
