Oleta Kay Shaum, 77, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015. She was born Dec. 20, 1937, in Enid, Okla., to Jasper William and Thelma Imogene McNeal (Kyle).
Kay enjoyed playing cards and her favorite card game was Canasta. She recently had made many new friends at her independent living facility. Kay enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl Shaum; and children, Kevin Shaum and Keri Hamm.
Survivors include her grandchildren, David Hamm, Daniel Hamm, Abigail Hamm, Jedidiah Hamm and Sara Hamm; son-in-law, Dr. Hazen Hamm; brother, Gary McNeal (Carol); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be 3-8 p.m. today, March 20, 2015, at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home, Del City, Okla. Graveside service will be noon Saturday, March 21, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Enid.
