A graveside service for Loretta Winifred Shane, age 94, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2009, in the Garden Chapel of Memorial Park Cem-etery. Rev. Kenneth Wade will officiate. Arrangements are with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
She was born Dec. 20, 1914, in Banner County, Neb., to Clarence and Alta Hauser Wynne, and died Friday morning, May 29, 2009, at The Commons Methodist nursing facility of Enid. On Jan. 13, 1942, Loretta married James H. Shane in Scottsbluff, Neb. He preceded her in death. She was a homemaker for all of her married life.
Loretta is survived by two children, Donald E. Sutherland and his wife, Joyce, and Clarence E. “Mick” Shane and his wife, Carol, and a brother, Jimmy Wynne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, a companion, Dutch Hixon, and a son, Raymond.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to American Heart Association, Muscular Dystrophy and Aicardi Syndrome.
