ENID — Funeral service for Phillis Sessions, 68, will be 2 p.m. today, Dec. 21, 2011, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Don Tines will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Phillis was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on Nov. 9, 1943, to Early L. and June M. (Brockelman) Campbell. She went to be with the Lord Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011.
She was raised in the Enid area.
Phillis was married to Jim Sessions and had four children. They resided in Longdale, Okla., where they opened a café for a short period, then Phillis worked for Longdale School for a number of years until the school closed. The last 13 years of her working life she worked at Fairview Fellowship Home as a housekeeper.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Lawrence Ray Campbell and Roylue Campbell.
Phillis is survived by four children, Jimmy Sessions and Yvette of Longdale, Okla., Tony Sessions and Tonya of Cleo Springs, Okla., Ricky Sessions and Karma of Canton, Okla., and Lisa Haigler and Tucker of Watonga, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones.
Phillis loved spending time with her family and loved going to the races to watch her boys. She also loved to spend time with her grandchildren, family and friends. Phillis loved to play cards, Chinese checkers and board games.
