Funeral for Ruth Brown Schultz will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Dan Thimell will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ruth was born March 19, 1927, in Marland, Okla., to Thomas and Ruby (McCart) Bothwell and died Friday, June 12, 2015, in Highland Park Manor in Enid.
She attended local schools and moved to Enid in 1957. She was a caregiver in the health care industry for 20 years.
She was a member of Faith Fellowship Church, DAR, Eastern Star, and Women of the Moose and a life-time member of Ladies of the VFW. She enjoyed dancing and playing cards.
She is survived by her daughter, Linette Romer and husband Robert Elliott; former son-in-law Robert Romer; four grandchildren, Bella and Tristian Romer, Debbie Sanchez, and Stephanie Wright; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sister Juanita Correll; sisters-in-law Cheryl Bothwell and Carol Schultz; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her former husbands; a son, Thomas Herrick; and brothers and sisters.
