The funeral service for Mary B. Schoeling, 80, Douglas, is 10 a.m. Saturday, August 19, 2017, in the Brown Cummings Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Tom Donaldson officiating. Burial follows at Memorial Park Cemetery.
She was born to Bernard and Christine Peacock Cameron June 6,1937 in Leonardtown, Md., and passed from this life August 16, 2017, in Enid. She was raised and educated In Leonardtown, graduating from high school in 1955. She married Richard Shoeling April 12, 1958. They made their home on their farm near Douglas. She was a homemaker, a farm wife and worked for the Covington Douglas School system for over 44 years. She loved caring for her horses and enjoyed camping. One of her favorite things was to watch her grandchildren in sports, FFA, and all of their activities.
She is survived by her husband of over 59 years, of the home; son Richie and wife Kim Schoeling of Fairmont, and daughter Debora Fischer and husband Mark of Douglas; sisters, Ann Miller and Mary Jean Goldsough, sister-in-law, Mae Cameron, special cousin, Mildred Schneider; grandchildren, Bryan Fischer, Austin Phillips, Dakota Schoeling.
She was preceded in death by her parents, twin brother Joseph Bernard Cameron and brother, Bernard Francis Cameron
Memorials may be made in her name to the Oklahoma Cancer Foundation, with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
