The services celebrating and honoring the life of Jo Savoie, 92, of Enid, will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday March 22, 2018 in the Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Michael Robinette officiating. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
Jo was born to C.E. Goldsmith and Mary Rhoades on September 13, 1925 in Enid, Oklahoma and passed from this life on March 20, 2018 in Enid, Oklahoma. She was raised and educated in Pond Creek, Oklahoma graduating from Pond Creek High School in 1942, she then attended The University of Oklahoma. She was married to Hershel Bules in Pond Creek on March 31, 1945 until his death in 1979. She was later married to Burt Savoie in April of 1984 until his passing in 2000. She was a Homemaker and later kept the books for the family business, Bules Water Well Inc. She was a member of the XYZ, P.E.O., Mothers Club, Bridge Club, and Lady's Golf Association. She enjoyed dancing and was an avid golfer.
She is survived by her sons David Bules, of Enid and Greg Bules and wife Becky, of Lahoma; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, one daughter, Ranell, and one great-grandson.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Cancer Division with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
