Graveside services for Guy Eugene Simpson, 64, Enid resident, will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 29, 2021 in Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Steve Williams officiating. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Guy was born on May 27, 1957 in San Angelo, Texas, the son of Delmar Simpson and Hattie Mae Hightower Simpson, and passed away peacefully on December 21, 2021 in Enid.

He grew up in San Angelo, Texas and Los Angeles, California. Later, Guy moved to Enid to be near his sister, A. LaFaye Austin in 1973. Guy loved and played the game of basketball at James A. Foshay Los Angeles, a Blue Ribbon Jr. High back in the day. He finished his education at Enid High.

Survivors include his sister, A. LaFaye (Delbert) Austin; nephews, Delano (Renee) Morgan and family and D.J. (LeToya) Austin, Jr. and family; He also leaves to cherish his memory Brenda Lauderdale Pine of Los Angeles, California, Walter (Karen) Lauderdale of Carson, California, Denise Cross of Carson, California, Leonard Rene Cross of Los Angeles, California, Lisa Cross Fuggins of Moreno Valley, California, Bryan Simpson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Charlotte Ann Simpson Woodson of Arlington, Texas, Josephine Simpson Lartey of Lewisville, Texas and a host of great-nephews, great-nieces and other relatives and friends.
