Ella Mae SIEGMANN
Memorial Park Cemetery
Funeral services for Ella M. Siegmann, age 88 of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2013, at West Willow Community Church with the Rev. Don Tines officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, from 5-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Ella was born Dec. 6, 1924, in Newalla, Okla., to Dewey and Janetta Geyer Hanshaw and passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at the Greenbrier Nursing Home. She grew up and attended school in the Fay and Thomas community.
On Oct. 22, 1943, she married Roland C. Siegmann in Thomas, Okla., and he passed away Oct. 18, 1997. In 1957, she and Roland opened the House of Bargains with outlets in Enid, Nash, and Ames. They also operated the Grand Diaper Service until the disposable diaper became popular. She was the bookkeeper for Siegmann Septic Tank Service, later becoming Chem-Can Services

Ella is survived by her daughter, Marcella Swaim and husband, Hoy of Enid; and a son, Dwayne Siegmann and wife, Diana of Enid; seven grandchildren and several great- grandchildren; five brothers and two sisters and a host of other family. She was preceded in death by one sister, Dollie Lewis.
