ENID, Okla. - Funeral service for Casey D. Schneider, 25, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Pond Creek-Hunter High School Auditorium. Rev. Gary Lillie will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6-7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Casey was born Feb. 22, 1988, in Enid, Okla., to Howard and Barbara Gulley Schneider and died Sunday, May 26, 2013, in a vehicle accident.
He was raised in the Nash community, attending and graduating from Pond Creek Hunter High School in 2007. He was chosen to be on the All-Star and All-State football team. He attended college at NOC in Tonkawa, then went to OSU, graduating May 4, 2013, with a degree in sports medicine.
He attended Nash Baptist Church and worked for Steve Schneider Farms.
Survivors include his father, Howard Schneider of Nash, and mother, Barbara Orf of Enid; paternal grandparents, Leroy and Shirley Schneider; uncle, Steve Schneider of Nash; cousins, Bryan Schneider of Enid, and Kenny Schneider of Nash; great-grandmother, Pearl Howard of Enid; and stepfather Don Orf of Enid.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Eldon Howard, and great-grandparents, Otto and Laura Schneider.
Memorials may be made to Nash Volunteer Fire Department.
