Memorial Park Cemetery


The funeral service for Christopher T. Sanders, age 47, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at Emmanuel Baptist Church. The Rev Tommy Donaldson will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Chris was born Nov. 22, 1963, in Enid, to Leslie and Gloria Johndrow Sanders and died Jan. 24, 2011, in Enid. He attended Enid High School.

Chris enjoyed OU sports, going to the lake with his mom and sisters every summer, riding his motorcycle with friends and being with his family. His sweet nature will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his parents, Gloria and husband Harold Howery and Leslie and Cathy Sanders; his daughter, Lauren Sanders; his brother, Curtis Sanders and wife Tammy; sisters, Terry Feely and husband Tim and Connie Dotson and husband Wes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Hazel and H. T. Sanders and maternal grandparents, Genevieve and Woody Woodwine.

Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation - Diabetes Division.
