December 2, 1944 - April 20, 2020
James Frank "Jimmy" Ruzek was born December 2, 1944, in Enid to Frank and Theresa Louise (Storms) Ruzek and passed away April 20, 2020, in Enid. He attended Enid Public Schools and graduated from Enid High School in 1963. Jimmy went on to attend and graduate from Business College in 1966.
Part of a close-knit family, Jimmy decided early on that he would always stay in Enid and take care of those that needed him. He was a dedicated caregiver to his parents all of his life until their passing. A farmer by trade, he would work on the farm until evening then retire to the home he grew up in until the sun came up the next morning. Then, he would be right back on the farm.
Jimmy will be remembered for being a faithful and valued friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Theresa Ruzek; brother, Vernon; maternal grandparents, John and Carrie Storms; and paternal grandparents, Rudolph and Matilda Ruzek.
Jimmy is survived by Larry and Sherri Isaacs; Whitley Vanaman, husband, Lendal and their son, Waylon; extended cousins and numerous friends as well as his beloved best friend, Boston Terrier, Charlie.
A private family graveside service will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions can be given through the funeral home to Our Daily Bread.
